The Rustico (farmhouse) is inserted into the context of a small manor that produces oil, aromatic- and medicinal plants.
We rent a complete house, which is independent from the main building, walking distance is only a few meters.
The structure of the Rustico is in natural stone, the typical Tuscany stile, it has been renovated in 2004.
The roomeness is about 50 sqm inside space, outdoor there is a large roofed veranda (Portico) of about 25 sqm.

- · For the cold season the Rustico is heated by a gas heating system.
Under the Portico of the Veranda an old stone made bakery oven is located. By reservation, guided by an expert, you can experience the oven in operation. We assist you in the ancient art of making bread.
At the "Solane di Sotto" pets are welcome, prior notice.
Our manor is located at the end of a white crushed stone road, typical for Tuscany, 2.4 km to go. The final 800 meters lead you uphill.
The owners are not always present on the spot, while ensuring the presence for the welcome arrival and departure. To guarantee a smooth check in, we appreciate an arrival after 4 pm on Saturday, the departure we would like to recommend by Saturday before 10 am.
The minimum booking period for “Solane di Sotto” is one week.
Our Rustico, although located in a very quiet and rural landscape, is in short reach to the historical towns and seaside resorts:
• To Suvereto 10 km
• To Massa Marittima 15km
• To Follonica 20 km
The nearest beach, “Torre Mozza” or “Mortelliccio”, can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.
Also, within 20 minutes, you can reach “Venturina”, where is located the “Therme di Calidario”, a large pool of natural hot water.
The nearest bigger supermarket, at “Riotorto”, you can reach in 15 minutes.
At least a bar and a little food store are located in “San Lorenzo”, already 5 km away from us.
